In recent years, our local economy has seen a dramatic expansion of the biotech sector – in Cambridge’s “Biotech Corridor” in particular. This was the topic of a recent CoreNet New England Chapter Event, where Bill Harris moderated a panel discussion between three industry leaders from Genzyme, Novartis, and the Broad Institute, who shed light on the business drivers that have led to the expansion and how that growth has impacted space demands and real estate decisions.
