Goals

Challenges

  • Meet a tight time line and budget.
  • Evolve the existing finishes into an updated identity that can be translated into designs for new satellite offices in different cities.

Design Response

  • Organized the plan by clear paths of circulation and communication.
  • Shaped the main entry and lobby/reception areas using curved walls, energizing the space and focusing the eye on sweeping views of the city skyline.
  • Created a two-story translucent panel wall that encloses a stair and serves as a screen on which dynamic video displays and web broadcasts are projected.
  • Laid out all furniture, integrated into the architecture.
  • Employed full-height demountable partitions for offices, sliding doors, and glazed interior walls, addressing cost, flexibility, and tax benefits.
